“I really really wish I could come here, again I will try my best to make money, and to come here. It was the funnest camp I’ve ever been to.” Adventure camper
"I've been home from Big Lake for about 24 hours and I really miss it! I just wanted to thank you for making my 7th summer at Big Lake the best. I can't wait till next year." Teen camper
“This was my 4th year coming to BLYC? It’s the best camp experience I’ve ever had!” Junior camper
"My son had never been to camp. I sent him as a reward for good grades and he did not know any other campers there, however, he said the atmosphere was so much fun from the beginning that he made lots of friends right away. He says it was the best week he has ever had... the highlight of this and any other summer." Junior Parent
“Big Lake Youth Camp = Awesome” Tween camper
“I love Big Lake and how it talks about Jesus.” Adventure camper
"No one has ever reached my son like camp has. I hope his counselors realize what a positive impact they have made on growing teenage boys to make sure they have fun, keep them within the camp rules and also to encourage them about God in ways that are real and relevant, not phoney. Big Lake so much surpassed my hopes that I just had to write and tell you." Mom of teen boy
“Big Lake is the best place. I feel like I can be myself and know that I can without any doubt in my mind. I love it here.” Teen camper
"I don't know what you do to the kids there at camp, but every year it seems like my son leaves home with an attitude. Summer has grown long and we need a break from each other. Then he comes home and he is a different person. He's more centered, more polite, happier, and more respectful. Thank you so much." Mother of teen
“I had sooo much fun at this camp I felt like my cabin was like a little family and we could talk and share things and mainly just be happy together!!! It is so sad to know I am leaving tomorrow!?” ABBA's Child camper
"This year, at age 18, I cannot attend Big Lake. I could sit here and tell you all about my memories from Big Lake, but there are far too many. I just hope that I never forget them. I will miss the smell of the trees, the staff, the lake, hanging out with my cabin mates, making jokes with the staff, going to the doctor for a splinter in my foot, boat drivers trying to knock us off the rocket - everything! When I was younger I never thought I would have to say good-bye to Big Lake, it was always 'I'm so coming back next year.'" Now I just have to know that I will be back someday, dropping off my own children, knowing that they are in for something wonderful. There's just something almost magical about that place. I've absolutely loved every minute I've spent there, so please keep going." A former camper
“…SWEET CAMP! I think I’m going to be a vegetarian now…” Teen camper
