Transportation

Please note that transportation arrangements must be made through one of your group leaders prior to your arrival, and that all times scheduled are departure times. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to change into your snow gear and to unload your luggage. The Sno-Cat leaves promptly, and while changes may be available on the day of your arrival, they cannot be guaranteed.

Personal Vehicles

During the Fall Rental Season (approx. September to November) vehicles are able to drive all the way into campus. During the Winter Rental Season (approx. December to May) cars park at Ray Benson snow park and guests have a variety of options for snow travelling the last three miles into camp.

Sno-Cat

Big Lake operates three Sno-Cats, which are available for group travel. Different options are available depending on your groups needs for cab transportation, but most groups enjoy riding in one of our metal sleds for an outdoor experience or being pulled behind the Sno-Cat on one of our recreational inner tubes participating in a snowball fight or enjoying majestic views of Mt. Washington.
