Weather Preparedness Statement


Weather at Big Lake is quite variable. Our summers are warm and sunny, and we’ve been known to get upwards of 22 feet of snow in the winter. We would hate for your retreat experience to be hindered because of weather and urge you to check road and weather conditions prior to your visit. Please note current weather conditions, not only for your driving safety, but also for what kinds of clothing and bedding to pack for your stay here at Big Lake, as well as what attire would be appropriate for your ride into camp.
